I had never drawn any sharks before, so yesterday I remedied that issue and drew these dudes.Top to bottom: Shortfin Mako, Great White, and a Hammerhead
I used these references for the Mako and the Great White: www.elasmodiver.com/Sharkive%2… and 2.bp.blogspot.com/_-bvZ8aPMYPI… And beleive it or not I actually drew the Hammerhead without a pose reference. I looked at some photos to make sure I was getting his anatomy right but that's it.
Sharks are easily one of my favorite animals so it was a lot of fun to finally sketch some out! I have a picture in mind that includes some shark silhouettes so I thought I should probably practice first.
I'm really happy with how they turned out!
