Description 30min. spitpaint, Photoshop CC2017. I'm mostly happy with how the ripples came out, I wanted to try out an idea I had on how to generate them quickly..turned out okay, would need a lot of refinement and I think if I had more time I'd spend a lot of it noodling with that one aspect heh. But yeah, something fun for a warm afternoon.

Confusion is where it's at At least at the core of the myth you can glean what the telling could be, a general idea at the very least, so that commonality can thread itself through time and eventually iterate into even new versions with the same core story.

Awesome job man! You did really well for the 30 mins, pretty impressive in fact. Really like how you dealt with the movement of the picture and the effect on the sword under the water. I would suggest if you have the time to go forward with this one and render it out, it can be an amazing illustration.

i think the ripples turned out really well. they don't have to be super detailed to get the effect across, and the softer/subtle approach works perfect here imo.
