Description
When Korr was aged 17 Irken years he was at an awkward point in his life. He was frequenting a bar that no longer exists and he came across his first few girlfriends in that time. Ara is based heavily off of Korr's first and pretty much only monogamous relationship he ever seriously committed to. The relationship lasted a long time - she mothered the only cannon son he has up to date, Viaris. Due to the fact that this character's owner seems to have moved on I've created my own version of her - and I know her original owner would not mind considering I'm keeping her cannon in his past.
Anyhow, long story short- she was a few years older than him and he accidentally, as an inexperienced young guy, knocked her up because his pull out game is weak. Their relationship was deep and serious despite the fact that they ended up together by accident - and they loved each other very much. The details of why they fell apart are rather faded. A mixture of adultery near the very rocky end ( on both parts ) and inevitably Ara leaving with their son.
She's been gone ever since, and Korr - in his 30's now Irken wise, hasn't seen Viaris in 13 Irken years.
Rather depressing - since this all really happened over the course of an epic drawn out roleplay.
Korr is not into serious relationships anymore because of the fact that he lost everything to his own stupidity and loathes the concept of doing it again. If in the future he were to ever truly want to be with someone on a monogamous level it'd be a pretty big deal.
Its a shame he was only in the picture with Viaris a few years; he was a good daddy.
This also depicts how his antennae USED to hold themselves up. They've grown more and gotten heavier aka collapsed over the years so they just hang like locks would.

You're right about the original owner not minding so much. If anything, I'm really, really happy, and what a strange coincidence that I come back to this account (I've been on a six month long hiatus of sorts) to see this o.o
I've been looking at everything up to date of course but this one immediately caught my eyes, of cooouurrse XD
You can base the design more off from the original design for her if you like; I don't mind that at all. Korr was really the only man for her, and I could never (and will never) imagine her in a real relationship with anyone else. I'm kind of sorry that it ended up fitting so perfectly though because gosh we kind of broke our character's hearts there huh?
But it was seriously one of the best roleplay relationships ever. I just am so touched you want to keep it canon for Korr ;-;

TuT I am pleased you are okay with me keeping her cannon. I kept her slightly vague here because I was concerned about about being too true to her original concept ; but in that case, I will definitely do a bit more with it.
Its okay. >u> .... we broke their hearts and all but they would probably still be lovey dovey if they ever bumped into each other in the future...
;u; Of course! I couldn't imagine stripping her. She was kind of the foundation of his character and why he became to be.

YEAH SERIOUSLY I am also so happy to see you drawing again ;-; so much has changed in both our lives, but gosh am I glad. You always tend to rekindle my attempts of drawing big muscular men XD pffft
The original concept WAS Irken so there's really no issues XD I have already redesigned a spin off of Arancia that I'll be using for my own work, but Ara, the one that loved Korr so much; she's always going to be the same.
And Viaris! Hahaha it makes me happy to remember that little brat XP
You're right though. If they ever bumped into each other, it would always be the same XD I remember that one time you drew Korr with some serious anime hair; I still have that picture saved actually XDD when you had him as a human guy. Hilarious.
So nice to see you around, too! Out of all the people I've ever known, you're the one that's stayed in contact the longest... of course you get most of the credit for that, but I... am really happy to know you, nonetheless. Thanks for keeping track of me; you have always given me more hope for the human race than anyone else I've known.

I'm doing what I can. I do draw a lot more than Irkens but I don't have the interest in uploading it. I don't know how to describe it.
Yes Kero, muscular men. *waggles brows* TBH I have printed out sheets of the muscle anatomy and taped them to all my sketchpads inside, just in case I ever need a quick reminder of the muscles. Its really useful and makes drawing them way less intimidating.
Yes, Viaris is still in my head... Always has been. I've been wondering, since I do recall Ara sent him to the Empire, how he'd be doing and what he'd be doing... I imagine he's really effing tall and may be in a position of power. I don't know if he'd carry the bad attitude of both his parents ( GOOD LORD KORR AND ARANCIA'S TEMPERS IN ONE? FFF ) or if he'd be a kind soul. So conflicted. Much conflict.
Oh gosh the old drawings... Those are always a punch in the ovaries when you see the errors but they're still fun needless to say.

Right now this account of mine is on Hiatus actually! You'll find me most active on The-Slave right now; I use that account for silly little things involving adoptable characters I've collected over the past year XD It's not a super serious account, but that's part of the fun of it, I think. I'm going to be reinventing this one strictly for original characters of my own design and science fiction/fantasy.
Hahahaha I have at least a dozen files on anatomy and muscles in my folders! Using them in a sketchbook would be... so much easier, really. Better than digging around trying to find them in my files *contemplates printing them out* Haha and as for Viaris, GOOD LUCK, all I can ever imagine is that he'd have some measure of sarcasm to go with his life XD *punches you in the shoulder gently, so much feels*
But yeah before this gets too long XD you'll see more of my recent work over at my Slave account I can't stand Tumblr so I stay away from it like the plague XD

I've been contemplating a comic/story involving that. I want to get into practicing storyboards/comics so that'd be an easy way to start on top of the plot I already have thought out for Coco.
But yes I'll definitely draw Viaris. He's a cute little shit.
