My 2D rendering of the extinct elephant relative, Deinotherium, in referenced to the animation style of films like The Lion King and Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron
Also I gave it a long trunk, due to the theories about how it needed to drink.
I can do more prehistoric animals too for anyone, as requests or even paid commissions

The long trunk theory makes a lot more sense to me now, so how will such a tall, elephantine animal like Deinotherium need to drink with such a short trunk?
