Nice looking bark! Have you ever tried doing a multiple exposure so you can have the moon craters visible at the same time? It might be something neat to experiment with in the future.

Yes, many times thanks. In this instance, I wanted the focus to be foreshortened on the tree & bark - as you quite rightly note - and the eerie light in the foreground, while the moonlight is diffused in the background. Thanks for dropping by
