another work in progress. trying my best to push my stuff to a more finished look but thats proving to be rather difficult. Originally a school assignment about heroes or villians. I chose Genghis Khan. Did some research on how his religion might have been shamanism, I'm sure theres more to it but I stopped reading there as I had an idea of why the mongols where actually winning those wars. A bit of a cheapskate, that Genghis Khan was I guess. Will finish it up during the holidays.Related content

He was Tengrist. Which did include Shamanism, as well as animism, totemism, and could either be polytheistic or monotheistic depending on the feelings of the person involved and what other religions they were exposed to (IE, those in the Golden Horde who didn't convert to Islam most likely practiced the monotheistic version due to being constantly exposed to monotheism). Regardless, it was highly syncretic, and historically incredibly tolerant (probably due to its major developmental partner being China which had more religions than you could shake a stick at).

Your choice of the great Genghis Khan definitely makes this come out to life. I like your technique, and the way this work comes out to life definitely does more than justice. Great work!
