Whaaat kind of camera and lens do you use?!  I love macro but can't afford the lens I want for my Canon.  What do you use, I'll start saving!

Looks quite surprised at being photographed! Just to let you know, though, it's a damselfly.

It's definitely a dragonfly. I have a shot of the whole body where it's very easy to see this, but I thought the close up was more interesting.

I think it's mostly the angle of the photo. The eyes touch at the top of the head, but you can't see it from this perspective. I'm fairly certain it's a species of skimmer, possibly in the genus Orthemis.
