Description Chesler Park of Canyonlands National Park, Needles District.
Utah
A definate favorite place of mine. Loaded with potential. You can perch yourself up on a rock and have a full 360 degrees of interesting rock formations. Not a supprise I spent over 300 photos in the hour till sundown.
Enjoy!

Nice shot. The Needles District is probably my favorite place to hike and wander.

It is a beautiful place. I was just there a couple days ago but the light wasn't working for us. No good photos to show for our visit but always a pleasure to swing through.

Ooooh nice! Colorful rocks, beautiful clouds with the blue sky showing through, and a great sense of perspective. A winner in my book!

You're welcome. What's not to like? (That was rhetorical. )

Very well done - nicely composed. All your web images look a bit soft - you could revisit your web sharpening techniques.

Thank you!
As for the sharpening I lack Photoshop skill severely. I get help occasionaly with techniques but am never truely happy with the results. For now I just leave them as-is untill I get that perfect technique.

I'm right there with you. I have so much fun shooting, I don't want to spend a lot of time processing. I could definitely use some work on my PS skills.

Great shot tho, the needles section is a less popular gem of the southern Utah's park's. Excellent depth and foreground sharpness.

Thank you.
Yeah, all my techniques are very simple. I try to put forth the greatest ammount of effort with the camera, which I am much more familiar with, then tinker with PS. Sometimes its a win, other times a fail.
Thanks for sharing your perspective
