My first pure hdr, let me know in the comments if it looks good or not. I'm not the biggest fan of HDR but this was the only way to really do this image right. The sky and snow were so blown out while the trees were black. GND's and masking in different exposures just didn't work for this one.Edit: I blended in the non-hdr image for the clouds, they just didn't look right to me. I also improved the sharpening and cleaned up some weird ghosting

i love the scene and i recon if hdr was the only way to get this to look good then it is as it is - there is something a bit off kilter with my eyes when i look at it but i can't place my finger on it - but beautiful shot nonetheless - i'd like to see the original

Not bad, looks a bit soft though. The postproduction generated small halos around the egdes, so it appears a bit smooth. But I like the balance.

I'm not a great fan of HDR, too. The quality of your picture can not be assessed from my, because I have no experience with this. Sorry for this, but on the other hand, I like your picture
