I'm really angry, because a couple days ago i had this AWESOME, way better than this page of sketches, and theeennn of course right as i go to save Photoshop Karma says "im gonna teach you a lesson for never saving until the last minute"
So yeah. Now i just have these dump-o's. And She looks like she's flying in many of them, lol
And i was thinking... how's everyone like this design? I've been using it from early on but I've realized its still really subject to change..

I love the variation in the poses. I just had my own rat running around a few moments ago and I noticed a lot of the poses you drew she was doing. XD

Did you sort of like study mice? I mean, you've got all those natural movements down to a pat! Awesome work. I think she/he loooks great!

I bought mice when i started the project to try and help me get the movements down, it really all boiled down to a few specific actions, walk, freeze and sniff, then continue! haha, now my mice are really fat though and arent much help, thankfully the film is almost complete!

Reminds me of the actions of a Meerkat. I had two mice once... Quite useless really - but still fun to muck around with, except ours never got USE to us and well...pooped...alot...especially when you held them.
Well it certainly helped you. I'm sure - having mice to actually LOOK AT and observe, design, sketch. etc.

haha possibly, rodent like things all do that sorta sniff and run thing
But yeah,in the early concept stages it helped me a lot, unfortunately i recently got baby rats and they've made keeping on model harder for me XD

C: They had babies....when I bought a male mouse and didn't tell me mom. xD Well, I did tell her, but she usually shoos me away to shut me up (When I was little), so I bought it. My excuse: You knew! And you still let me....Sorry now we have 8 extra mice..." xD

Oh....wow...all 12? Holy. We had 3 female mice, and we separated the male after...like...5 minutes of putting them together...but he still got one prego. XD
We couldn't tell who the mom was first, they all took care of them together.

omg! its so cool, gladiator (the real one) her daughter has like THE exact same markings, just flipped to the other side of her face, its so weird! I kept both of them, and one of the boys, who is now living with my other rat XD

The mom was gray though, they just took all her genes I guess! We sold them to the pet store...actually...gave them away.
Oh! That is so cool! Totally reminds me of twins, because all the twins I know (That look a lot) are just flipped, like looking into a mirror.
I know two pairs of identical twins...and then I believe...3 more of non-identical...forget what you call that. xD

I love Gladiator's design! All the poses are so lovely and realistic. And all the action and movement within all the sketches is realistic too. :'D Seeing these makes me want a rat again. I used to have 2 at different times, then I after my last one died, I just never got another.

And yeah, I had that problem with photoshop all the time, so I've gotten into the habit of saving every few minutes. Every time I change a line, do some coloring, etc etc, I save.
