How in the world...alright, my jaw just dropped in awe.
You completely change styles, and still make it look entirely YOURS. I feel like I'd recognise your style anywhere now, no matter how you change it. I'd bow, but i hardly feel that it fits the ideas of equality Enjy so values.
Incredible work!

Ooh, shiny. If Van Gogh did cartoons, they'd look like this. Like the crispness of the penlines in the hair/face.

I rather like this experimental style you've got here. The colors are vibrant and touchable, and his expression is just as vibrant as always: it shines through even here, and I love that. AND THAT COAT. I could die. Lovely work.

Love this. His hair, I stared at it much too long for it to be called healthy staring. Is there such a thing? I also love the coat. The colour, and the way you put the shading. Fantastic work!

Thank you! I may do more like this - it's an easy way of converting the things I doodle on spare paper at work into something to post, and it does force some clarity of line and colour on me when I'm usually so smudgy.

He is really handsome and I do love the background and those hairs.
He's expression is somehow dreamy, but I can not guess what he's thinking.

Many thanks! I was playing around with texture brushes on the background, as I'm still working out how to use each one.

Well. This just made my day. How beautiful.
I really like the way you've done this! It's so lovely. It looks a little Art Nouveau-esque to me, what with the defined outlining and shading around his face, and then it gets more impressionistic the further you move away from the center, and in the background (sketchy background! I like it!).
And his hair is magnificent, as always.

Glad you liked it - and yes, absolutely some Art Nouveau influence in admist the comic book general stuff...I love tendrils of hair and flowing textiles!

We've had some fantastic conversations about Enjolras' complicated relationship with France...His mother is the Republic (hence the title of this piece, the Republic embodied in the allegorical figure of Marianne), but his mistress is Patria, his country. That's...um...interesting, bless him.
