Description See! I do draw Enjolras and Combeferre doing something other than...never mind.

I'm sure they're writing something subversive here. Unless Enjolras has convinced Combeferre to pen his latest paper.

I can totally see the Mucha in Enjolras' hairs. C'est bon! To see 2 GARCONS BEAUX in a more casual, 'everyday' manner.

Perhaps Combeferre is to receive an incentive after this toiling, eh?

I am totally loving the hands here.

I started boning up on the Mucha sources today! Went to town on the books (it's payday) and will start working up a more serious allegorical painting. Brace yourself - I'm thinking ostentatious symbolism, like laurel leaves, ivy and poppies (poppies being my favourite symbol and probably my favourite flower).

Combeferre looks very tall for some reason here. His hair is growing on me. That sounds awfully strange... you know what I meant.

Dang - you're right. Don't want him to stand up - it's a sort of Pieta situation. And glad you like the hair...I think my poor Combeferre and his Schubert inspired styling (with a bit of Ford Maddox Brown thrown in for good measure) sometimes startles people a bit. I suppose it does look like he was playing around with early experiments in electricity. I sort of seeing running his fingers through it a lot, so it stands up a bit.

oh! I am SO running late this morning but cannot put off praise for another moment-- not a jot! Both of your latest transcend perfection!! How can I get on with my day , having been captivated?? Oh yes, most beautiful, both your latest and this one is charming-- talk about subversion-- yes, a perfect scenario as above stated!! WELL DONE!!

Heh. Mutual fangirling thing going on here, because I just adore your work - like I've said before, your use of colour in a character so often seen in shades of black and white (in every sense) and the power of your sketches (particularly those intense gazes) are things that just blow me away.

There is so much more to javert then meets the eye or ear-- I hope in some small way I can help a soul peek through.

Yay! They're doing something else and they have clothes now!

..."Combeferre, do you love me?"
"Why, yes, Enjolras, why do--?"
"Write my lab report on the dissection of the moth?"

Oh, that is the scenario precisely! It explains Enjolras' body language perfectly. Moreso than "I suggest you insert a paragraph here about wage fluctuations in the quarries."
