It's really long ago since I last made fanart of Death Note. I just watched the movies, and I was like "OMG, I forgot how uke L is, I gotta make something xD"Please don't comment how bad the drawing looks, it's not even supposed to look good
the purpose of this drawing is to tell the world my opinion. Hope you like it though ^^

I hate to say this, but I'm not into seme!L at all. I'm wouldn't even agree to them switching roles once in a while. To me, L is just so completely uke x'D But you're allowed your own opinion, of course

I'm starting to get into the Seme!Light and Uke!L fandom. But I like LXLightXL best.
I guess it's when-you know how L looked in the beginning? When he didn't show his face and the creators were to make attractive? (They failed when they tried making him unattractive. XD)Well, when his hair covers his eyes and his hair straight, he looks mysterious. Like there's something behind him. He's independent, right?
You're right about Light. He's had more experience with social interaction. (Well, L can hire a someone, right? XD and they get paid to not tell anyone...) I guess it's that L knows more about the world than Light does, and so he knows about "it", and he's a curious person.

I do agree with your opinion wholeheartedly and think the picture is just adorable. I write uke L in my stories, although once in a while I let Light take it like a man but there has to be motivating reason why he Let's L be seme. LOVE THE PIC!

LOL that's okay, I own all three movies and Change the World is my favorite. My favorite scene like that, when he's sitting next to the girl at the water park, and she leans against him, her head on his shoulder and his head pops up and he looks back and forth like "WTF do Ido now!!" It was hysterical, and that was the major charm of that movie, watching L trying to deal with his feelings for these kids. I LOVE that movie.
You're right though, it is incredibly interesting for him to learn how deal. I think my next story will be a back track on how he let that happen with Light in the first place, using LCTW as a model for how he dealt with it.

Yes, my stories are yaoi...well they'd have to be if L is uke, right? They explore the relationship between LxLight that SHOULD have happened in my opinion had L managed to make Light realize how much he really loved him and kept him from letting Kira take him over completely in that helicopter. They are living together, and dealing with the world as well as their relationship. If you're interested, they're in my gallery and each story is in it's own folder. They are in order starting with the first one "Something to Think About" (which is the shortest one that establishes where they are and what they're planning) and continues from there.
I do both, I squee because he's so damned cute and I do feel sorry for him at that point because for the first time in his life he is completely alone (without Watari) and faced with something he truly doesn't understand. But he works through it, and he 's wonderful about it, and it breaks my heart that he finally is able to reach out the day before he dies. It's a wonderful, wonderful movie.

That's exactly part of the reason why L is so damned popular. Those of us who feel a little outside the social norm can completely recognize ourselves in him, it's as if he represents us and makes us feel really good about ourselves because he shows you can be socially outside the norm and be a genius and make something fabulous of your life....as long as you stay away from Death Notes. And those of us in the female side kinda want to either mother him, undress him or be his best friend. He covers all the bases.
