Sure thing!

It's relaxing too, since the lineart's already taken care of and now you can just have fun ^^

so true Especially if the lineart is medium-to-thick base then it makes coloring a breeze and the main thing ya gotta worry bout is what color goes where

last night I was dipping out some boiling food and a paper towel stuck to the bottom of the bowel, which I was holding with a cloth cause the bowel itself was hot too Wouldn't ya know it that had to be a time for gravity to kick in? Bowel somehow jumped outta my right hand, did an Olympic somersaut in midair, dumping itself upside down on the inner part of my left arm, and then touching down on the floor spilling all its contents
Twas a bad day yesterday, and that didn't really help anything but at least me tearing up got Mom and Craig to stop bickering

....and I cried about the loss of food, not bout my arm...though it's still tender :tear: Part that got burnt already had a cut on it curtesy of one of our cats
The dog helped clean up the mess after it cooled for a minute

Fwelshie-Laurine In reply to combatmaster [2006-11-13 20:04:18 +0000 UTC]

dogs are handy for that lol.

sorry to hear about your arm. ouch! stuff like that always happens to me (dropping hot just cooked to perfection food.) but luckly i tend to duck and cover lol. thats why i get other people to cook for me.

but if it really were an olympic summersault perhaps you could try out for the actual olympics. with the coach threatening you with hot food you'll be world class in no time. just an idea.

Yup. He also comes in handy has a backup for the 'happy birthday' song He barks along though he's always off key

lucky >3 I somehow managed to cook a homemade double layers pound cake at the same time of cooking spegetti and grilled cheeses Somehow, I didn't burn myself once

I'll leave that stuff to the professionals I'd like to see if I can go through this lifetime without breaking a bone

yeahy! pound cake! well done. it truely is amazing to meet people who can cook without injuring themselves. i live with one, and each time see her manage to do a meal with out so much as a little burn i am i awe.

thats my goal in life too, and so far so good. hopefully i havent jinxed myself now...

I was an all dog-person until we got our first indoor cat
My dad hated cats but after catching a rat, Pete warmed his heart
We're not fish people though...can't seem to keep the darn things alive for more than a week My dad's got a watchacallit...one of those casting of a fish that a taxadermist does ...anyways, it was Grandpa's though Dad was with him when they caught it. Off the coast of Florida they were fishing and BLOOP! Reeled the sucker in and it's sail on its back cut my Daddy up when he was a teen Had to beat the heck outta it with a paddle before it quit kicking and even then it twitched

IT is an art for someone do to so every time My Mom is purty good at it, me...I usually do burn myself or cut myself or drop something on my foot at some point or other BUT NOT THIS TIME And I even made homemade pancakes this morning and yet again NO BURNS! ...whoa...better cool it or I might be jinxed

knock on wood

Fwelshie-Laurine In reply to combatmaster [2006-11-20 19:03:43 +0000 UTC]

knock on wood for you. to close to tempting fate with a good run like that. hey, just gotta ask, another america europe difference. is it true american pancakes are fat and small, like you drop the batter in a pan and dont spread it to the edges?

My dad cant stand cats... or so he says but some morings back at home if i'm up early enough to sneak in to the kitchen during his breakfast break he is down on the floor playing with the cats. so cute!!! ^_^
we have never had much luck with fish eaither. we had two once called bubbles aka sardine to my bro and splash. we had them a good month till my dad was chasing a fly with an arosol can and sprayed it in to the tank by mistake. they swam up side down for a while then stopped swimming... we never got fish after that.

combatmaster In reply to Fwelshie-Laurine [2006-11-20 20:59:03 +0000 UTC]

we got plenty of pine trees to knock on...jus watch for the sap

with the pancakes it depends on how much flour you use in the mix and how much grease is in the pan. At restaurants, yeah, the pancakes are generally smaller and thicker, light brown with semi-crispy crust dripping with butter and molasses [link] I dun eat em that much myself...syrup literally kills my gut
as far as it spreading to the edges, nope, it generally doesn't...why? I've no idea One of those unexplained mysteries kinda like how can ya get caramel outta heating up grandulated sugar and canned milk

Funny thing that, I had a teacher who loved to travel all over the United States but he's always been country-hick southern and he went up into Yankee territory (above the Mason-Dixen Line around Wisconsin) and they didn't even know what a chili dog was! He bout all the stuff seperately and made it himself cause he had a craving while everyone watched in awe at the combination

My dad would break his neck if he tried to sit on the floor Fake knee and all >3 But he plays with em so much in the chair, it almost makes me mad how they jus jump in his lap and sleep on him but then with me they use me as a trampoline >_<
Gotta luv catching those shweet moments though

Fish are strange creatures In Landscape class we were in charge of the ornamental pond and I slipped on the slime n' fell in the water Entire class was there too...landed right on a fish Surprising enough he lived
I was also in charge of cleaning a fish bowl in my Math class, the fish was stubborn though bout letting me clean it Kept hanging onto the pepples and then making an Indiana Jones leap into the cup of water I had for him
I believe I nicknamed his Fishstick cause no one else named him

...why did your dad go after a fly with arosol? Starter's Fluid works better Least it did for my insect project before

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fwelshie-Laurine In reply to combatmaster [2006-11-21 20:06:37 +0000 UTC]

if you spray any flying insect with arosol they get dizzy and usually fall down, you just scoop them up and pop them out side. never heard of using Starters fluid.

our pancakes (or if your french - crepes) look like this [link] they are really thin, cos we move the pan about so the batter sreads out and you fold them over with sweet or savoury insides. my faves are jam, sugar and lemon juice, or melted chocolate and bannana. we dont use syrup on them at all.
I have heard of chili dogs but you dont get them here, hot dogs themselves are usually only at concerts and the cinema.

Lucky fish! maybe some of them have 9 lives too. I had to mind the school hamster once over a weekend and well, I brought him to a friends house and ... left him behind, she ended up bringing him over tho when she noticed the cage in her room.
cats always sleep on me when im reading or writing them when i have to move they wont let me with out getting annoyed >_<

never tried it with arosol before. Gotta keep that in mind. Does it work on fleas too? We got em bad, one of the penalties for having house pets

Starter's fluid kills on contact. It's like liquid death for bugs!

Hey cool I've had one of these before. We made em when I was a wee lass in French class back YEARS ago. I believe I had it with chocolate syrup flaked with power sugar

Chilidogs are a fine southern cuisine to many while to others they're jus "make do" meals [link] can buy a pack of hotdogs and either boil em or grill em and take a can of hot dog chili and slice in some chunks of velvetta, microwave that until finely mixed and hot, then pour it over the hotdogs. Add in some pepper, some onions, maybe a lil bit of ketchup and relish and ya got a traditional guaranteed-stick-to-your-arteries chilidog
I usually eat hotdogs with jus mayo, ketchup and mustard cause of the heartburn Craig goes the extra mile and adds to his chilidogs mayo, chips, and sometimes ranch dressing but minus the ketchup and relish
He's weird that way

good girl! Glad she brought it over or that'd be a tongue-tango of an explanation to the teacher ^^
Cats rarely get on me cause I fidget too much Some are jus too darn stubborn to take no for an answer though

I dont think artosol will work on fleas but ive never tried. dont tend to get fleas here too much, too cold ^_^. lucky us!

chili dogs are weird, but sound strangly appatising! not too good with hot spicy foods tho i tend to take a bite and hop around the house drinking litres of milk at a time. My house mate is gonna to make chicken fajatas tommorrow and promises to set the smoke alarm off with the firery scent. I'm stocking up on anti-acids and milk to be safe.

awe shoot No fair, we got fleas gone to bed...literally! We spray the cats and such, but they get on the furniture, we spray the furniture and they get on us and we can't very well spray us

they are Ever heard of an actor named Andy Griffith? Ole fashion country actor whoms had two sitcoms in his lifetime and different movies. He practically lives on chili dogs! He's my Mom's fav actor
Oh lord, if they promise to set the smoke alarm off from jus cookin the stuff I'd be heading towards the hills ARD plus spicy foods=not good bed fellows

Fwelshie-Laurine In reply to combatmaster [2006-12-05 20:05:56 +0000 UTC]

sorry to ask but ARD? they were the spicest fajitas ive ever had but they were wonderful.

I have heard of andy griffith amazingly as i usually have no idea about actors.

fleas are little pests alright. i have no idea how you would get rid of them. its the climate, hot and humid. just perfect for the little blighters.

Acid Reflux Disease Lining of the esophagus is basically fried and I dun think that trachea flap thingy closes all the way

COOL! From Mayberry to Matlock he's always clean humor Him and Dick Van Dyke. Mama loves em so when she's around and their on, guess what channel the tv goes to?

yup, mini barhopping lil vampires that are the dickens to grab, much less squish We've tried different home remedies I found on the internet but nothing seems to work so we're gonna have to eventually reduce to pesticides Which are horrible cause last year dad used the stuff and we could barely breathe for a week

Fwelshie-Laurine In reply to combatmaster [2006-12-11 14:28:33 +0000 UTC]

Oh just sounds like a barrel of laughs.

lol she sounds kinda like my mum. our TV goes to 4 (the standard number)and my brother to 8 (standard and british channels). we dont get that many channels here, unless you have digital ... which obviously we dont.

Damn it! pesticides. not very nice. I cant even stand fly spray.

Hick-ups are interesting. I sound like a frog giving birth

I think all our mom's personalities come from ready-made factories, they act too much alike not to!

Lessie...standard channels on tv are 3,9,11,22, and 28...which all show boring stuff throughout most of the day so we upgraded to dishnetwork which is purty cheap considering how many channels we get and that we have two seperate boxes At last! Something we can afford! Channels 105-356 give or take 50 odd balls As bonus there's also the Sirius Music channels up in the 1000's that only plays music. Not bad, but some of em I think were made before my generation

Horrible stuff. Dad had to go around with the waterhose and dilute where he sprayed cause it was so bad I hate anything that has overpowering odors cause it makes me not able to breathe very well for some reason Stuff like aerisol sprays, insect sprays, hair spray, cleaners, and some perfumes basically knock my sox off
Yet I like scented candles and car fresheners

What's your fav scent?

See, we live down here in the Low Country of southeast Georgia, bout an hour from Savannah and the Coastal Empire on the north side of the Ogeechee River. So all cold fronts from the Atlantic tend to brush along the river from Tybee and change our weather quite erratically Seasons like to be eratic
