What strength! But don't forget there are many guys like you all over the world!...yeah. For some reason, I like the generic-as-hell designs from Street Fighter. Not SFII, mind you. Old ass '87 Street Fighter ONE. I did this originally as a submission for the SF Tribute artbook along with the Alex/Vega collaboration with . Similarly, it didn't make the cut. I'm still proud of it, except for a few things I may end up coming back and fixing. Ken and Eagle look all kinds of messed up, but I love the way Adon and Mike turned out. Birdie's a mix-and-match from his SF1 and SFA incarnations, but eh... whatcha gonna do, brother?
I intend to redo this from scratch with a better composition some time down the road, but it's not at the top of my priority list by any means. We'll see!

The very first tournament back in the good ol' 87. Two friends (Ryu and Ken) fought the following: A shintoist monk (Retsu), a ninja (Geki), your average man (Joe), the first boxer (Mike), a thug who look pale at the time (Birdie), a bodyguard (Eagle), an assassin (Gen), a kung-fu master (Lee) and... the arrogant muah thai guy (Adon).
The finals took place in Thailand where Ryu fought Sagat, the sponsor of the tournament. Ryu lost in an almost-dead state, Sagat tried to reason with him but surprise, Ryu used the Metsu Shoryuken and scarred Sagat, as a consequence... the events of Street Fighter Alpha series began.

Lee is also revealed to be an uncle of the Street Fighter III characters Yun and Yang, and possibly Gen's son.
Why doesn't Capcom put unused characters Lee, Mike, Joe, Geki and Retsu in next Street Fighter Series or SF VS other team?

Geki, Adon, and Gen are the ones I'm most proud of for the anatomy, the lighting from below, and the crazy pseudo-gradient shading on the stomach, respectively. Thanks for the kind words and the fave, good sir!
