either of the monochrome versions are really awesome. I prefer the black and white, but the blue is so much more appropriate. What program do you use?

I hand-draw the original design and ink it in, then scan it onto my PC and create a 'live trace' or 'image trace' in Adobe Illustrator, which creates a vector image out of the JPEG of the scanned drawing, which smoothens the lines and allows me to edit it. Once that's done, it's simply a process of selecting colours and touching up errors here and there.
Personally, I love the black-and-white one - it's for that reason that I haven't coloured the original hand-drawn copy. But I'm still rather proud of the coloured one.... this one was more of an afterthought. I was inspired by a Sonic Archie Comics T-shirt I have, which is white and has Sonic spin-dashing on it. The only colour used is blue. Love that shirt, so I thought - "Why not do something similar?"

Cool. Thanks. Sounds like a pretty straightforward way to vectorize on image. That's always been my trouble is turning traditional sketch into digital without pixelization.

Yeah, Illustrator makes it so easy. I love it. ^_^
