Oh my freakin' Gord! This issue was f'in' INSANE! There were a couple sucker punches in this one. I won't spoil anything here, but I'll just say the first death left me floored.
You guys have outdone yourselves yet again! All that hard work and super late nights - it all translates to one hell of an issue. You should be so proud!

Aww, thanks for saving some of the surprises for me. But to tell you the truth, even when I do know what's going to happen, I'm still always eager to see how you get there. Like, even though I flatted the bit with Jackson at the end, I never could have guessed the true context of the scene. Your guys' stories go so beyond what's happening in the moment. Heck, each new issue makes me look at all the previous issues differently, so I'm still finding surprises in issue one.
And you're killin' me with this issue 9 talk. I honestly have SUPER mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, I'm so excited to be able to appreciate the series as a whole and see how it all ends. (Plus I'm dying to get my hands on a nice omnibus. I'm mainly a TPB junky.) But on the other, I DON'T WANT IT TO END!!!

And yes, there is a ton of stuff we put into these issues. But I also find it to be great how open Rainbow is, and I love hearing about the world of rainbow that each individual reader has made for themselves.
