Piloting ships would be the joint job of the helmsman and engineers if I recall. Not too terribly sure on the specifics, but the captain isn't steering most of the time, essentially.

While Sue's personality is incredibly Sueish, the same cannot be said for her appearance. Everyone knows real Sues are described in contradictory terms, resulting in horrifying, mind-shattering abominations befitting the Sue's personality.
That said, this comic is gold-pressed latinum. Massive bricks of it.
