How did you make the zipper work? Did you cut it and just left the zipper unzipped? Or did you zip it up somehow? I'm having trouble with figuring out how to make the zipper the right size but that it'll still work.

It was a bit tricky to get the zipper to work. Β I did cut to the right size, but had to remove the zip pull because it was too big to look good with the costume. Β Since the teeth of the zipper itself are so big, it wasn't too difficult to zip it up by hand. You just need to hook each pair of teeth together one at a time. Β The collar hid the area where the pull would normally go, so nobody would notice that it was missing. As for Lavi's costume, I actually did leave that one unzipped. 'Cause he's all casual like that. XD

The made is made from Sculpy clay. I formed or over a carnival mask (with a sheet of wax paper between the clay and carnival mask), and then baked it.
