Why thank you. However the only 'research' I did was find a picture of it from the one of the walls of the palace of Darius I. It just fascinated me that's all

well yeah, but when you have a rep to uphold you particularly want to look good, one fashion faux par and that's it, the mortals start laughing and pointing, not leaving young maidens chained to rocks or giving you titles like "Mr. Dragon" or "Oh Wonderous One".

Well wolf, relax a bit and don't worry about the faults too much. You'll die too young if you worry to much.

Just get good at looking very interested and intelligent and pretend you are doing everything that you should be doing. Acting very busy while doing nothing at all is a talent of mine.
No I don't go to drawing classes. Sometimes I trace things to get the idea of their shapes and stuff. But what I do mostly is just break down stuff into simple shapes and then fill in the gaps. Although I did go to a life drawing class for a while which I found was very helpful as I have always had issues with human figures.

You could try this: Start the drawing or whatever, using pencil. Then after you have it the way you want it before using pen or whatever on it, STOP. Go away and leave it alone for a while like 10 minutes or half and hour and go and do something else.
Then come back and see what looks wrong. Then fix them. Sometimes when you're really concentrating hard on something you miss things.
I finished a drawing last night and when I came back to it today I found a few mistakes. So try it it might work.

well i feel sometimes its better to hate something before you put heaps of time and effort into something than afterwards.
the book probally means a light box or you can stick it to a window and then trace around it.
