Wow I have been visiting a lot of the old series I liked. Fushigi Yuugi is the first shoujo manga I've read, and Tamahome will always have a special place in my heart

Beautiful~ If you liked that one you should read Fushigi Yuugi genbu kaiden.
Technically its a prequel because it follows the priestess of Genbu. It was a really deep manga.

Thanks! When I think about how I am now too old for all those anime/manga guys that I had a crush on when I was young I feel a bit sad haha. But since Watase Yuu and Tamahome really inspired me to grow as an artist back then, I will always like Fushigi Yuugi even though the drawing, story and animation is really old school. I wanted to draw them again in my own style and I'm happy that I did. I'm always slowly collecting the genbu series. Now she's working on Byakko Ibun too, can't wait to read it!

but yea yuu watase was a huge influence on me when I was younger. I have a huge collection of her manga. I think my favorite is imadoki though XD it's so pure.
