Honestly I have no idea xD I would guess about an hour.

I don't add fur detail on at the end, I actually paint it first and then add shading as I'm going along. Dark wolves are also easier and quicker for me, and there wasn't much of her to paint in that position.

Yeeah, maybe 1-2 hours. I am pretty fast usually as I use the same technique (I've got a lot faster at it recently), and that is the total time I am working on the painting, I often get distracted and browse DA whilst painting which makes me slow right down and I don't actually get much done on the painting xD The face took the longest as that is where the fur direction really matters whereas the rest of the body is more simple. And I shade the back legs first and add fur detail as needed, so not much time spent there.

I wanted to do the fur on mine in detail but I didn't want you or the person commissioning me (It's been 10 days) to wait long so I finished it where it was but tried doing as much detail as I could.
That and you probably already know how bothersome fur is. XD

Well I think it worked out looking great, he looks super fluffy ;D it reminds me of a husky's coat.
