Well this is about as far as my current level of photoshop skills will let me go with this one, I hope there is an apparent slight improvement over the final and the almost there mark I already put in my gallery, I'll leave the other one in for a while to compare for those interested, then I'll move the other to my scrapsRelated content

You don't use a tablet, do you? I think if you did you would be VERY good. This shows a lot of potential, and I think you should really save up for one if you don't have one.

ah i see, im sorry! Well, it looks REALLY good either way, just the unsteady lines i guess. Tablet takes time to master. try making the lines less thick and sharp... If you want a good brush for sketching with the tablet you can use the one i made(see my gallery) it's pretty good for messing around and transition from pencil to tablet...
Anyway, pen tool is a bitch to use, I use brush.

though i think your lineart could do some more work ^^ because they look a bit jaggy here. or is it because you draw with a mouse? O__o possibly?
