Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins and one of his friends (I only know the name StudioDog from Twitter) just did a little video about blowing up the moon. With the shaved head, I thought it might have been a reference to that piece!

This is one of my favourite submissions for this contest so far, its kinda quirky and I have never heard of anyone wanting to blow up the moon before hehe.

When a name like a SaturnSunshine, I'm sure you agree that the Moon has taken attention away from things like Saturn and...er...Sunshine. There are so many great works entered into this contest I am honored and humbled that you like mine so much.

I just watched a special on Nat Geo about 'what if we didn't have a moon'. And you know what? We'd be F*CKED! you sick, sick, bastard!

I know that many "scientist" say that if it weren't for the Moon the entire planet would spin violently out of control causing tidal waves, earthquakes and planet wide destruction like in that movie 2012. I say there are a race of intelligent bug-like aliens on the Moon with psychic powers hell-bent on the destruction of mankind! So who are you going to believe me or your precious scientists? BTW Thanks!

I used Prismacolor pencils on something called gator board. It's rigid and has a nice smooth surface that the wax comes off on really nicely. Thanks for the kind words!

believe me hun, I have done it to myself as well... remember, no matter how good you are, no one can interpret a concept or image the way you yourself can, that is what separates every individual artist, gives us unique work and lets us see into the soul of every creator
your work is beautiful and expressive and it is your creation, that makes you as wonderful an artist as any other individual on this site. There can never be another artist who creates like you do and I wish you all the best in this competition

No it wasn't a bad dream at all. It was a glorious dream that set my life on a singular path - the path of blowing up the moon. No really, I never remember my dreams but on the rare occasion that I actually do, I'm always a spy of some kind. I am ever honored that you like my work. Thank you.
