History:

Summary:

    -          Grew to hate men due to his experiences with his mother’s boyfriends. Also learned how to hit and swear by example from them

    -          Started fighting at a young age and was recommended to a wrestling program which was a gateway to professional fighting/combat.

    -          Became an MMA fighter, after one too many head injuries however he was forced to retired

    -          Currently somewhat aimless and receding into childhood habits now that he doesn’t have his outlet.

    -          Is post-TMI and suffers post concussive syndrome

Full Rough:

Herman had it tough growing up. As a pudgy kid with a single mother who had rotten taste in men he experienced lot of situations he should not have had to from a young age. At school his weight was the subject of jokes and his name made it no better. He was the ‘fat rat’ and the butt of many jokes. At home it wasn’t much easier. Since his father had left he was the tiny ‘man of the house’ whom his mother relied on and treated almost as another adult. He had a lot of stress and responsibility set on him. Whenever he was dethroned it was because his mother would find a shitty boyfriend and bring him into the house. Often times these men were physically or verbally abusive… among other things to both his mother and him. The many times this happened with different men taught Herman to be hateful and suspicious of adult men from the start. He was also exposed to awful language that sticks with him today and violence.

Herman learned at a young age through these many boyfriends that the only way to solve his problems was through violence. Being picked on? Hit them. Not being picked on anymore. Not enough attention? Fight someone. Something was better than nothing. And the punishments were never severe enough to deter him from aggression. Herman sort of slipped through the cracks and always seemed to get away with violent behavior away from home. At home mother was often too stressed to deal with him and the punishments would be light if there were any at all.

Fortunately, before Herman managed to land himself in juvie… he found himself an outlet. In middle school he joined a wrestling program and has since explored multiple fighting-centered arts and sports. With these he was not only able to channel his aggressions and excel but also able to learn healthy habits and get physically fit. He shed the chubby kid of the past but kept his aggression bottled for when he could expend it.

As an adult he landed himself an MMA career and threw himself into it whole heartedly. Though… perhaps a little too much. At the age of 33 cumulative stress and head injuries caught up to him in a few blows to the head. When he was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury it was an axe to his career. He was no longer allowed to fight and dissuaded from doing so by doctors since another concussion might mean the end of his life.

Since retiring he is seeking new meaning and feeling a sense of uselessness. In the absence of a consistent outlet however, the demons of his past are coming back to haunt him. He wants to start fights with people over nothing, self-medicates, and hates without reason or sense. He has a lot that is unresolved. He’s currently working as a bouncer at the clockwork dollhouse brothel. Why? Because it gives him a chance to beat the shit out of scummy men that’s why.
