Description

Another late-60s swinging girl (or, like in this case, very early 70s swinging girl), but with Tezuka-style facial features for no particular reason. Tezuka's girls have very special faces. I've always found their features very idiosyncratic, and bringing that idiosyncrasy into my style has been quite interesting. I've posted it as an animated gif so you can see variants on her expression.

I'm quite happy with this one.

Ps.: Why 1971 if I don't often go beyond the 60s, especially when this swinging girl could easily belong to a year more akin to my sensibilities, like 1968? Well, is a nod to the year Tezuka completed the publication of my favorite among his graphic novels, 'The Book of Human Insects'.
