Description My older sister wanted me to make a cover for her art diary she brings to Uni and other cool places. She told me that she wanted it to have a black silky cover and a red ribbon. She really liked how it turned out! She was wanted a slightly gothic look with the charm I sewed to the front. I cross stitched the material on, and my sister thought that the cross stitched made it look more authentic....as in really expensive looking.....She has probably bragged to her mates that she bought it in this expensive store in Double Bay or somethin'

Materials used:
Black Satin Fabric
Black Thread
Thick cardboard
Charms of two different types of Crucifix's and an Angel

I think I'll make another for my own diary...which has crappy drawings in it...but oh well!
Red thick ribbon
Contact Glue (arts n crafts version of a super glue)

Man I totally forgot about that thing. Yeah it was pretty cool. My sister used it as an arty diary for her sketches over the year and its still looks brand new.

I would have done it with different ribbon though. Something thinner and more burgendy. But that was my sisters choice.
