been listening to some inspiring music lately while trying to get out of my artblock XP so I finished up Kila's RoF

An owl flew over the snow covered ground of the tundra, searching for the small rodents that kept it alive. Stray beams of sunlight broke away from the suffocating cloud cover and persistently cast itself on the sparking white expanse below. Traveling along their 5 day route Kaed and Kila was well into their 3rd day of trekking across Takotna. The two were tired yes, and they could've gotten some more sleep last night if the Borealis hadn't kept them awake with its blue lighted glory, the fascination of the strange phenomenons kept their eyes glued to it for a good duration of the night. Kaed remembered Jun explaining something about the sun and the north and south poles and the reaction that it causes, but that was quickly set aside with a yawn. Trying to stay awake for at least the day part of their journal (to mark their route on the map) Kaed had decided to walk alongside her mount. After a good hour or so Kila had halted, and was gazing upwards, Kaed could no longer feel the warm sunlight on her face that lulled her to sleep. Blinking away the drowsiness from her eyes she too stared upwards. There stood a stone inukshuk. The Inukshuk speaks you are on the right path, or, we were here. Kaed remembered from a book she read recently. Well, we are here alright.
