pt.1 For piece one of my mini return celebration, I'm immediately breaking my rules and posting two things, whoops! This piece was a class final and one that I fondly remember creating in December of 2020! For the assignment, we had to create a few frames of animation for an original character based in the world of one of our favorite 2D video games. So how could I not create a piece from my then favorite, Hollow Knight! The animation totaled 85 frames and I also painted this still with a full background to go with it.

For the character's backstory, from what I remembered, I named her Leaf Knight, and she was inspired by the Mantis Lords. I believe she was meant to be a guard for them before everything began to fall apart. I do wish I could remember more, but I will share it if I can find it!
