It looks great, but I can't tell from this angle that it's Rome. It's too vague. When I tried identifying him, Russia and Turkey came up.

Oh wow... the colors and the textures in this is just gorgeous! You are a master of light and color, m'dear! I just love the golden and brown hues, and the dreamlike look to this - it's perfect. I've agonized for a good few days on and off to think up a reponse that is both succinct and thought-out, but I can't really find the right words... Quite simply, everything is done right in this piece.

I cannot say anything else about your art than the fact that it is stunning.
I especially like this piece, as it has a very emotional theme, very much thanks to the warm light and calm setting. The tilting of perspective also creates a light and dark edge on opposite sides, made more comfortable to the eye with light elements(the flowers)in the portion of the picture that is mostly dark, and the slightly dark clouds in the upper right part.
This makes a great composition, and you very expressive(yet it's easy to recognize who this character is) style completes the overall impression, and really creates an impact to the reader.
Please forgive my babbling, but I believe this piece is too beautiful to be left with a simple "very pretty" from me. Keep up the fantastic work, I wish I would be able to attend any conventions you participate in. ^^
