I stumbled across something magical on Sunday. That something was a musical/cd/audiobook called Razia's Shadow.
Let me tell you, when you mix the punk genre's sarcastic wit, like Brendon Urie from Panic at the disco, and the indie genre's sirens like Greta Salpeter from The Hush Sound, you get this magic album that sounds amazing and is like a more epic version of Romeo and Juliet.
It's also an experiment, because it is a musical, and it's only audio, there's no video whatsoever, and honestly you don't even need it. I got it on itunes, and I actually dont regret it. How often does that happen?

And a quick word on the style, I know it's not of a resemblance to the gorgeous artwork on the site I linked to, but that's because I was intimidated . I'm going with a style i've experimented with but never actually finished anything with. The characters are supposed to be older, I think, but I pictured them as lovesick teenagers and like that before I saw any of the art other than the cover art because i got it from itunes. I was right about Princess Anhura! That's interesting, how I pictured her correctly. How random is white hair? Adikis, not so much.

I dont know what happened, I was tired, it was a crappy monday and boom. this came out. It was like art vomit. Except it was good. And like vomit, I'm finally, FINALLY at peace. I was going into artistic seisures earlier, setting up still lifes designed to try and kill my eyes (glases with creases in them, harsh lightning, and spoons. Yes. I was crazy.) or attempting to draw my crazy complex computer setup or even sketch my cat on five peices of skethbook paper until 3 am. But I think I'll be able to relax now. Phew!
I will upload some traditional stuff soon.
