I actually drew this back in April, and intended to stuff it into a drawing dump rather than upload it by itself, but I decided I like it on its own too.

Reader is supposed to be an old book in a library that comes to life at night and just reads. The long scarf is a bookmark, and he has a papery texture on his skin. The clothes feel leathery like book bindings. When he moves quickly it sounds like flipping pages.

I haven't quite figured out how a story with him goes. I know he's eventually discovered by a late-working librarian, but I don't know what comes of that. I do know his story would take place in the same world as Adelaide's witches and the Dooleys. I'll figure it out eventually.
