Description
Seshat is an Egyptian goddess of writing, wisdom and knowledge. She was seen as a scribe and record keeper; her name means "female scribe". Her priests oversaw the library in which scrolls of the most important knowledge were assembled and preserved.
When an author created a story, inscription, or book on earth, an ethereal copy was transferred to Seshat who placed it in the library of the gods; mortal writings were therefore also immortal.
