Description Okay, so this is my character I've been playing with on my Calamity Mod file for Terraria.
Her name is Lya.
This is the gear I use aesthetically, but not in game. Like, I have better wings, and armour, and accessories, but I like the way these look. Also, I don't have that gun, since I'm still pre-moonlord. I just think it looks neat, and like it for the picture.

I have a whole backstory for Lya that I've been using to craft a story for her as a playthrough.
She was born to a family descended from the inhabitants of the Brimstone Crag. For those who don't know Calamity's lore, since it's a lot, basically, here's that bit; Humans found there way to hell, where they encountered the eternal red flame, created by their goddess the Brimstone Elemental, everything went well, the humans learned magic, but a power structure began to take place, and some of the citizens decide to revolt against the capitol's power structure. They were exiled, but realized that they didn't need a connection to the red flame anymore, and created their own brand of magic, still worshiping their goddess, though to a much lesser degree. This offshoot of the original population of hell would eventually be home to Calamitas, the most powerful witch the world had known, and final boss of the game. She would eventually go down to the underworld after being mentally broken, and then taken advantage of by the rising Tyrant of the Jungle, and burn the inhabitants, leaving only the small offshoot population she came from. Okay, so that's the Calamity mod's lore, here's back to mine; And years later, as things do, their stories got twisted, and they created a strange religion, and these people were mad that Calamitias had destroyed their home. Another powerful witch created a prophecy, though it turned out to be more of a curse, that a child born of hellish descent, in the moments between a blood moon and solar eclipse, would rise to take revenge against the Witch (Calamitas) and kill her. Lya was born to a human mother, and a father who carried the brimstone magic in his veins. The religion, more aptly called a cult, that still worshiped the Brimstone Elemental, and waited for this prophcied child (jeeze I can't spell), heard of Lya's circumstances of birth, and found her parents. Her parents gladly sold her off to the cult for a few bucks, and Lya was raised from age 6 to 27 in this cult, being told that she was the one to avenge them. While there, training for her destiny, Lya learned that under the effects of the prophecy, she couldn't die. She was cursed to regenerate, no matter how many times she was dismembered or otherwise killed, until she either defeated the Witch, or died trying. After years of brainwashing and torture, Lya made a run for it and escaped. She ran, and happened to find a friendly vender in the nearby city offering guided exploration of the lesser inhabited parts of the world. Lya jumped on this chance, and met Brian the Guide, and forced him to take her out to the wilderness, where she planned to get the attention of Calamitas, and kill herself. But along the way, she realized that she didn't want to get Brian killed for her own reasons, and he seemed very friendly, none of this was his fault, so she decided to hold off. Instead trying to start a new life, as the few people who did live in the area introduced themselves to her.

Okay, so it's a mess, and there's actually a lot more to it than this, but this is all I'm typing up for right now.
Lya becomes friends with the other NPCs you can encounter in the game, and we'll see how the rest of my playthrough goes. But yeah. that's why she has the eye tattoo, and her backstory. It's edgy enough to fit in sort of with the official lore I think . XD
Also, in my interpretation, I mentioned how Lya can't actually die until she either fulfils her curse, or dies trying, and that goes for the rest of the NPCs there. In my version of this, each of the Terraria NPCs have their own curses that they've run from. Except the Guide, but his is more complicated so I don't wanna go into it rn.

Yeah, it's dumb, but I guess writing this out is mainly for myself since none of you guys likely care lol.
Anyway, hope you guys like my gal Lya, at least the drawing anyway.
I'm not a huge fan of how it turned out, but I think its nice-ish.

Also yes, between packing for my camping trip, and playing Calamity Modded Terraria, this is what I've been doing today and yesterday
