Description
Random Creature mix! I like the idea of random creature generators but I couldn't find any online that I really liked....so I just built my own using excel. It still needs a couple tweaks but it works pretty good! Spits out a couple different options at once along with a modifier (such as an element or descriptor such as 'old'). The whole idea is to simultaneously do random drawing prompts while also adding more miscellaneous creatures onto my worldbuilding
The first one that I decided to do was "Civet + Moray Eel + Fog". I decided to give it a civet-y base but stretch it out longer and make it more aquatic, and decided to go for main coloring inspired by Snowflake Moray. The 'fog' color is inspired by Flight Rising's fog color, which is in the purple range for some reason. Gray/Yellow/Purple is such a weird color scheme and not one that I usually touch at all, so I thought it would be a fun, 'out of comfort zone' challenge.
Anyway! It's going to be called a ciray. I imagine that its mammal-like and has an aquatic lifestyle, mostly found in areas with rocky ocean shores. They are omnivorous, feeding on mostly plants but will supplement their diet with other things. The fog effect is more like steam; these creatures have patches of skin that heat and evaporate water quickly to form a 'fog' display.
