Oh my god. I have been meaning to update C's ref for YEARS 8|;;; I love to draw him, but...dang! The old ref is so outdated. He's drawn all small and stuff.I think I'll probably take a break on ref updates for now. 8'D There's still a couple that could probably use one (*coughDUSKEcough*), and some..that could use an actual ref entirely, but! Small break needed.

C actually hasn't changed that much over the years!
C is a layhr, which is a species that belongs to ~SparkleNinja . I always meant to RP him more when the Layhr shop was open on Gaia, but I never did. 8'D;
... He is a bit less developed than my other characters, but I still love him so. <33
Man, I almost forgot about this lineart being in my sketchbook though. 8T; Good going, Ghost. HURR HURR.

Fun fact: I never knew C's mane was that light a brown! (For some reason, this surprised me more than anything.) Also, holy crap your art has improved and I know I say this every time but it's true.
BUT OH MAN C AND HIS DIDGERIDOO TUBES. I know it says trumpet on the ref, but I've always thought they were pretty similar when you play those low trumpet notes. Plus, all I can imagine is C tooting around in the woods, or something, and freaking out all the forest creature with those bellowing notes. :'D

Well, to be honest, I did lighten up/saturate a couple of colors on this ref XDD But! You know what, I couldn't really tell what shade of brown it really was on the original ref anyway 8'D Thank youu ;33; Sometimes I go through periods where I'm like, have I improved any or what 8|;; But then I look at ref comparisons like this and I am really surprised. o33o *kind of wants to do another big slow comparison picture again sometime, like the Quest for Improvement images*

His tubes actually remind me of coral (fff barnacles XDDDD *dies*) so he makes me think of the ocean too. I KIND OF THINK he would float really well if you put him in the water. 8|;; Just the tubes sticking out and moving around like some kind of crazy...shark.
