Happy Birthday, Bob! Yes, it's Bob's birthday on February 13 and this panorama is for you, my friend! I hope you love it and it fires your imagination and inspires you and Alice to take that trip of a lifetime we talked about all summer!

I've been saving this 5 shot panorama from Dead Horse State Park in Utah especially for him because he is my best friend and I know he has fallen in love with the Canyonlands, Arches and Moab area as I have.

Thanks so much John! I may have to settle for looking at this area of the country through your lens for a while, which is no hardship at all! You shoot very very little that I "don't like". In fact, I'm not really sure you've ever shot anything that I don't "like"....

This is just a note for all the other folks who might read my comments here... John and I have text almost everyday. So, yes, I knew about this shot a couple days ago. So, before you think I'm some sort of "cad" for not answering till now... don't!

So many are duds, though and there are lots of failed panoramas too. Shots I won't process because they are just bad or I tried something and it didn't work out. so I'll just have to go back one day when I know better how to do some of the things I wanted to do.

I just knew there was something that I was supposed to find/see on the computer ...and I couldn't figure out what it was... until I saw the title for this!
He's gonna love it! (but, I just wish I would have had access to this shot, for something else that I did - but, there's always "Edition no. 2" )

The Network is working! Really, I just finished putting the panorama together like 1/2 hour ago so you couldn't have had access to it anyway, but yeah, edition 2 will be killer!
