The key also for me is not to overuse this technique. You will see it in lots of my Funk Art mostly.

The size of the patterns are determined by the point size of the pens I use, and Iβm always experimenting with different pen brands(Micron, Pentel Hybrid Technicas, etc..).

Itβs all dots my friend! Iβm sure this process can be duplicated in Photoshop or some other plugin, but for me it is hand drawn dots. It allows me to create patterns of my own, and sometimes new images are made through this process. Itβs also a practice in patience which allows your βinner eyeβ to βseeβ images which are present in all patterns. Itβs art within art. It is a part of the creative process for me. Because I am basically self taught I had to come up with ways to develop a steady hand while drawing. The technique itself is called stippling. Patience is the key, and it may not be appealing for all. Thanks for asking.

Well done πΒ
May I ask you how you created the pattern of the background?
Are these 1000s of dots or is there a shortcut...
