I thought it was interesting that Zecora was the only character in the alternate timelines that was able to "think across universes". Even though the Changeling-dominated universe was the only reality she ever knew, she still sacrificed herself and her community on the hope it could be erased from existence...and after only knowing the "real universe" Twilight Sparkle for a few minutes.

Reminded me of the Star Trek Next Generation episode(s) where the timeline got all messed up but the only one who knew anything was up was Guinan, the mystic bartender.Β

Found it rather impressive that they included an actual battle where you know all of the good guys will die, even if it was off screen. Basically they sacrificed themselves and got Twilight the few seconds more to reach the map.
