an extremely rare species of monkey Pokemon, Grookeys are notable for having a wood stick coming from certain trees in the Galarian forests that have a musical quality, the stick is also empowered by Grookey's photosynthethic body, it uses it's stick to beat rhythmically against surfaces, in which the stick releases mana-empowered sound waves that causes grass to grow and wilted flowers/leaves to come back to life.
as Thwackey it's stick splits into two larger sticks for creating powerful rhythmic nature-based beats to strike opponents and grow more grass, finally as Rillaboom these creatures become as big as gorillas and their two sticks become fused into a big wood drum which becomes integrated into their chests, it is capable of doing awesome drumming techniques of ancient forests, it's signature move Drum Beating involves Rillaboom pounding it's chest drum rhythmically to generate a lot of flexible roots coated in green mana runes, the controlled roots attack the opponents in perfectly accurate trajectories, making them near-impossible to dodge, getting hit by the magical roots also lowers the opponent's speed stat.

maybe chest armor, those sticks that Thwackey had might became fused and transformed into the drum chest armor.

Oh yeah since Cosmopoliturtle did the Gigantamax forms from the expansion before the first part of it came out, I bet his Gigantamax Rillaboom would be something.
