As far as the work involved, everything was done in photoshop CS, photo was used for mainly a reference with some overpainting for the woman and her child. Original photo can be found here, please check it out! [link]

I found the original much better than this one... I know it's probably you who did the correction to fit with the story of Elizabeth Tremblay but I prefere the mother in blonde, with fairies and magic ^^!!

I already favorited this?? I love it anyway. What is the name of the woman who plays one of the cat womens. I am forever needing to remember her name and forever having difficulty retrieving it. Dang it! I don't know why I can never remember her name. Well, she looks like the second girl who played a modern cat woman. I have to come back and look at more of your work later.

I have had the pleasure of visiting many DevArt sites before becoming a member, but this is by far one of my all time favorites I have set it as my background off and on many times over the last year. The elven woman is so well rendered with the child, so well set in the backgound. There is a certain magesty to her without being pompous or overbearing. It would be perfect for a story by someone like Adrea Norton or R A Salvatore! Thanks for sharing this beautiful piece of artwork!
