Combination of 3d renders I made from Poser 6 (egg/dragon)
Digital Painting (parts of background, a LOT on the baby dragon/wings/scales mostly hand painted - dunno why I even use renders LOL!) grass, etc. painted.
and... part of a photograph used in the background from dreamstime (purchased stock)
many many many layers, at least 7-10 were for color adjustment alone. This looks pretty decent in a variety of colors I finally chose this palette.

I like your use of digital mixed mediums. The use of colour flows together nicely, yet it doesn't take away most of the attention from the baby dragon. Even so, the rest of the picture can still be appreciated.
