Wasn't sure where to stick this within photomanipulation, so I think imo it fits best here. Anyway - I felt like doing a little quick fun image here with this gorgeous butterfly, sometimes I like to do something different, something that doesn't require any painting, or anything else very tedious, so I threw this together and tbh I really like it. I like the contrast between something so beautiful, and something so old and worn, and filthy.No fairies this time, but maybe next time

the duality of the peice is great and a lot of times a simple picture with another, add texture, just look plain awesome

the textures here are outstanding. really makes the delicateness of the butterfly stand out.

Its a cool concept - one could also extend the idea and say it represents inner beauty trapped in some way. Perhaps by an old body, or a wounded psyche, etc.
For something "thrown together" it came out very nicely.
