Love the photos. I've climbed this rock with my cousins before.

Really great light, and angle, shows a nice dynamic range within the shot of the rocky textures.

Indeed, I tried to keep most of the texture visible, from highlights to shadows. I'm still pretty impressed by the dynamic range of the four-year-old Canon 5D.

It sure looks familiar. If that's down in the fiery furnace then I recognize the spine. I was standing a little to your left so I don't have quite as good depth.

Indeed, it's in the Fiery Furnace. Anyone that's been through the maze will recognize this one. If all works out, I'm planning to head back sometime next week. When I was there last, it was fairly overcast, and many of my images simply did not turn out for this reason. Fingers crossed.
Do you have a link to yours?

I haven't posted it. I'll have to go home and see if it's even worth posting.

I'd be interested in seeing it. I'm thinking about making my way back down to Southern Utah in the coming week or two, actually. Might go back through here, on account of having gone through in February, when the lighting wasn't exactly optimal.
