Description
Without children, a woman turns to a witch who gives her a magic grain of barley, which produces a flower from which a tiny girl, as tall as a thumb: Thumbelina. Hearing her sing, the fairy prince, Cornelius, of equal size, but with transparent wings, he falls in love, the door for a walk and promises to introduce her to his parents. But the girl is kidnapped by a family of toads - singers, "Los Sapos de Espana", whose mother - soubrette Ranoquita, attracted by the beautiful voice of Thumbelina, dangles the lure of success, but the small declines when El Rambito, the eldest of three children, wants to marry her.
