Wait, your school doesn't have an illustration major?
I wouldn't worry to much about it though, most places that hire designers/illustrators aren't to concerned about what you majored in or where you went, they just care if you can deliver... and have kick ass art (which you have)... well that's what everyone keeps telling me.

No! It doesn't and it's completely retarded! lol They almost got rid of animation because apparently 'there just isn't enough jobs for animators'...the administration here I feel isn't too terribly bright at times....

I lol that they feel there's a lack of animation jobs, I'm sure there's plenty, but if you were really desperate, you could just move to Korea, plenty of animation sweatshops there .
Well, I haven't declared, but I'm thinking of majoring in illustration or animation. I'm having a really hard time deciding. Lately though I've been having a really strange urge to become a programmer. :[

You should just take some programming classes on the side or something (mostly because I think it's a silly thing to major in...like majoring in Spanish or something, lol) I plan on doing so so I can have legitimate 'I KNOW C++ AN JAVA, GUISE' sort of thing in my resume so I can work with video games later
Plus they probably have neato-rific elective classes for illustration and animation there, so you can pick one as a major and lots of electives for the other. That way you practically go into both :B

Yarr, I plan on the taking a dip in the video game industry later. I hear that Insomniac Games has a summer internship program now, which sounds very interesting.
It is nice that both majors are somewhat intertwined. :3
You know, now that you mention it, someone e-mailed me from my RISD drawing class. It was during finals so I completely blew it off and forgot about it. x____x;; I probably deleted it by now. I'm terrible with e-mail.
I still have my contact list though. I wonder what happened to Nikki's 30 something volumes of French Yu-Gi-Oh. xD
