The Sun
It's graceful rays
Beaming down on our shriveling skin.
Soon to be burnt.
But , oh where is my sunscreen?
Summer is near.
But, oh where is some water?
Thank you dear.

And now summer is upon us.
Children squealing for joy
as their prison is unlocked,
and they are freed.
But The Sun still beams down.

Are they wearing sunscreen?
Sunburns hurt!
Are they splashing in water? Drinking it too?
They don't need to shrivel.

Oh , I'm so worried.
The Sun , how ever graceful it is,
will hurt all these kids.

Run! Get your hats! Get your sunscreen!
Before it's too late! If you don't hurry you'll shrivel up into a date!

Oh , thank goodness they are safe.
The Sun has lost it's reign.
The moon is soon to be showing.
But the Sun will attempt it's blazing fires again.
Tomorrow.
