'Why can't I go faster!?' Forenca thought to herself as she got blasted back, scraping her shoes over the rocky pavement. She could stop herself from being pushed into the wall behind her, but it all felt wrong. It wasn't enough. She wasn't fast nor nimble enough to fight on equal terms with her enemy and it irritated her greatly. Looking at her legs that weren't doing what she hoped for, she could only think of one thing to do: focus all her magical energy in her legs and go faster, much faster.
