Once Tristan gets himself downstairs and into the kitchen he takes it upon himself to get the morning coffee ready for the rest of the crew. He used to just put in pre-made blends, but he started his own combinations and mixtures after a while as a personal hobby. Some of his early combinations were generally disliked, but he got better over time and now everyone trusts him to make a good enough pot of coffee to drink it without hesitation. Tristan doesn't need morning caffeine to get going, but he still has a cup of the coffee he makes just because he enjoys it. He's usually not alone, though, as the scent tends to coax the others out of bed. The first to show up is always Chelsea, as she's something of a workaholic and doesn't like to waste any time getting her morning kick and going to her office space to get things done. Some of the others say she keeps so busy running the company's finances and orders just so she doesn't wind up bound in front of a camera, but Chelsea has neither confirmed nor denied this and tends to stay active behind the scenes regardless. As for Tristan, this is where his morning routine ends and his day could branch out into any number of different activities, but he likes to take a moment to relax before getting too busy. After all, with how crazy things can get around here, why not enjoy when things slow down a little?

This upload marks the official conclusion of the Tristan's Morning series I've been chipping away at over the past couple years. I had plans for a whole day with him to be shown, but I cut those after I realized working in sequence was too tedious and I'd rather just skip to my favorite scenes if I ever did more stuff like this in the future. So this series ends here, and I hope you've enjoyed it in spite of the extremely long waits between uploads.

I really struggled in particular to finish this piece. First I made concept paper sketches all the way back in August 2021 (visible at this link) , and then months later in November 2021 I made the Clip Studio Paint adaptation of the concept and had a real sketch to work with from there. And then after that it sat around for half a year and didn't get worked on. By the time I got back to it my art had somewhat changed and now I consider this picture outdated, but I was determined to finish it anyway and conclude the series it belonged to. My new work schedule makes drawing extremely difficult, so I'm only focusing on projects I'm very interested in now, and this sketch from last year wasn't exactly the most interesting. The character poses are very bland and framed in a boring way compared to how I've drawn my more recent (albeit sparse) projects, so I'm not very happy with how the final project turned out. The shading didn't go very well either since I was too stressed to focus on it much. Overall not my best work, but at least you can't say I didn't see the sequence through to the end. That counts for something, right? At least now I can focus on some sketches I have sitting around that are more recent and much more fun.
