I woul like to comment on this painting. First of all I would like to say, that I am not commenting on how realistic this painting is because it is a Cartoon and this should not be a topic.
I will start with the lighting. The light comes from above and I cannot see a shadow that does not fit to the light source, but maybe you can think about putting a shadow on the chin of the animals. The light is coming from above and normally, the muzzle creates a shadow there.
The next point are details. I think you found a good balance between detailed areas in the painting and less important areas, like the background, where you can just see a window and a plate. One little thing I have noticed is, that the red fox has only teeth at the front side on the lower jaw. I hope you know what I mean. There are two teeth and the other side of the jaw should have two of them, too. Another point are the glasses. I think you painted the eyes of the bluish fox correctly but the reddish fox's eyes look a bit wrong placed. They could be a bit more to the right side (both of them) - the glasses also.
Line art. Your line art is very good. You used the strength of your black outlines to create the surface texture of the different materials like fur, wood, glass and pizza.
Expression. I really like the way you created an interesting situation. You can see where the three characters look to and how these views close the circle to the topic/ headline of the painting.
All in all, I really like this piece but here and there, there is a bit room for improvement. It will get a place into my favourites

Thank you very much for your comment. Yes, I have noticed that the facial feature of the red fox is a bit off. Mostly anything related to anatomy has been a bit of a challenge for me, and I definitely got to work on that.

Greetings Crafty, the names Rebba. I recently signed up for the weekly constructive comment project and saw your work featured there. The cartoony style really drew me in so I thought I'd put my two cents into the metaphorical hat. I'm of the opinion that what you did right with this work is just as important as what you could do better so this comment will be split into two parts, positive and negative, with an end paragraph wrapping everything up and giving you my personal overall opinion. This is featured on but I can't really leave a very substantial comment because I can't see much wrong. OK, the foxes' anatomy and the stacking of the bowl of fries isn't photo-realistic, but this is a cartoon so they don't have to be.
The pizza (salami, mushroom and green pepper?) looks right apart from not having any wheel lines on the part still on the serving board.

Just a question, when you mentioned "wheel lines", do you mean that I should make the dots on the salami a little bit bigger than it is? I'm just a little confused on what you meant, sorry.

Ah, that could be an "I know what I meant" thing. The cut lines left in a pizza when the pizzeria cuts it into wedges using a pizza wheel.

Nice work on the backround, bodies, and shading here but the snouts of the two characters at the ends of the table seem off-kilter when paired with forward facing eyes. My suggestion woul be that you practice more on faces at different angels, other than that the anatomy is well done.

I'd say a tad bit shorter and maybe make them be wider where they connect to the face and thinner the closer they get to the nose, kind of like on a real fox.

I see what you mean. I've gotten used to the habit of connecting the snouts to the inner edges of their eyes, but I'll see how widening the snouts a little goes as it gets closer to the face. Thank you again!

Hey I saw this in a constructive criticism group and thought I might give it a go!
the pizza and background look very well done and the color choices are to
the characters all stand out and have nice colors but the anatomy looks a little off but they have videos online for help with that
other than that everything looks great
love the pizza makes me hungry
